On the course of her education, Jelena Končar won Anita Mezetova’s scholarship as the best student at the Department of solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. During her studies, she also won a Biserka Cvejić’s scholarship for the most talented student at the Faculty. She was also a scholarship holder of CEE Musiktheater- Wien for three years, starting in 2006
Jelena Končar was presented with a number of international competitions held in Serbia:
-1998. International competition of young singers „Petar Konjovic“- 1st prize
-1998. International competition“Nikola Cvejic“- 1st prize and
special prize for the best mezzosoprano at the competition
-1999. International competition“Obzorja na Tisi“- 1st prize
and special prize for the best mezzosoprano at the competition.
She was awarded by National Theatre- Novi Sad in year 2006 for the best performace of Adalgisa ( Norma ), in 2008 for Silva ( Die Csardasfurstin), in 2011 for Zorka ( Mileva, composed by A. Vrebalov) and in 2012 for Rosina ( Il barbiere di Seviglia).
In 2013 she won 1st prize on Armel Opera Festival in Szeged ( Hungary) and named as “ Best female performer in 2013”.
